Pure Motorhomes Ireland Rental Terms for travel between 01-Jan-2010 and 31-Dec-2011 Please note: If you do not book in the local currency of the country where your rental takes place the payment due dates will change and
your main vehicle rental charges will be payable in full upon confirmation of your booking.
This is to lock in the currency rate of the day you booked on and avoid further currency fluctuations. Some charges like taxes, compulsory fees, extra items may still be payable upon pick up of your vehicle in their local currency.
(Please note, If you book in the local currency of the country where your rental takes place the standard payment terms described under the heading Payment Terms will apply.)
Important information about your rental
On arrival you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the operators of Pure Motorhomes Ireland. Here is a summary of the terms and conditions:
Definitions
The following definitions apply for the Terms and Conditions for Pure Motorhomes Ireland.
- The Supplier means the operator of Pure Motorhomes Ireland.
- The Client is also referred to as the hirer (s) and/or the driver (s).
Rental Opening Hours:
The office is open Monday to Saturday from 08.00 hrs to 20.00 hrs.
The office is closed on Sundays.
Collection / Return:
Collection of Motorhomes is between 16.00hrs and 20.00hrs. The campervans can be returned to our premises from 08.00hrs to 10.00hrs at the end of the rental. Clients who wish to collect vehicles, before 16.00 hrs (no earlier than 10.00 hrs) will be charged an extra day at the beginning of their hire. Clients who vacate vehicles later than 10.00 hrs (before 16.00 hrs) will also be charged an extra day at the end of their hire. Clients arriving at Dublin airport will be collected and dropped off free of charge. Please advise your flight details so that the supplier can arrange collection and drop off times with you.
Insurance:
Drivers must be between 25 years and 71 years and hold a clean drivers licence for two years. The insurance policy has an excess, that is, clients are responsible for the first 1000 Euro of damage. All accidents must be advised immediately. Where third parties are involved, their details must be furnished when the vehicle is returned. Only one additional driver is permitted. Please note that potential hirers who do not possess an Irish or UK licence can be subject to additional loadings of up to 25% or 50%.
Security Deposit:
The hirer is liable to pay a security deposit of 1000 Euro to cover incidents causing damage. This includes loss of skylights, mirrors, window or windscreen damage, impact with stationary objects, driver negligence, returning late or in an unsatisfactory condition, tyre damage etc. The hirer must notify the supplier immediately of any accidents or mishaps that occur so that the supplier may do everything possible to ensure the next client is not inconvenienced.
Cleaning:
The cleaning deposit of 200 Euro will be refunded when the Motorhome is returned cleaned internally. Out of respect for employees, the supplier insists that the toilet is emptied and cleaned.
Deposit Total:
The total of the Damage and Cleaning deposits are 1200 Euro. Please ensure that your credit card is sufficiently funded so that this amount can be authorised at time of hire.
Fuel:
A full tank of fuel will be supplied, please return with the fuel tank full. Fuel used will be deducted from the cleaning deposit.
Road Tax:
Due to the introduction of the new barrier free tolling system on Irish roads, all vehicles have been tagged for all tolls. The rate is €3 per day plus Government Tax.
Cancellation:
The initial deposit paid is non-refundable. In addition to forfeiting your deposit, the following charges also apply:
When 45 days notice is given of cancellation 100 Euro of the booking deposit is retained to cover administration costs. When 45 days to 31 days notice is given the booking deposit of 250 Euro is forfeited. When less than 31 days notice is given, every effort will be made to re-let the Motorhome. Should the supplier be unable to do so, full rental charges will be forfeited. It is advised that clients should have their own holiday/travel insurance to cover such loss.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that clients ensure they take out the highest level of travel insurance. In many cases this will cover any losses incurred if you are forced to cancel your booking.
Equipment:
An inventory of the equipment necessary for you to enjoy your holiday will be furnished and checked with you at the start and end of the hire period.
Conditions of Supply:
Whilst every effort will be made to supply the model ordered, the supplier reserves the right to substitute an alternative vehicle should circumstances dictate.

It is an important condition of hire that unfortunately, animals are not allowed in the Motorhome.
The supplier accepts no responsibility for delays, which may occur at the start of hire due to circumstances beyond their control.

The rates on this website are often heavily discounted. This is due to our negotiated rates and bulk buying power. On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law we/the owners of this website will not be liable to you or to any third party (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to any accident, injury, delay or loss of enjoyment) arising out of your reliance upon information contained on this website, including but not limited to your use (or inability to use) any products or services described or procured through this website.
When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Please note that a 1.75% credit card charge will be added when your payment is processed.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.
Amendments
Please note that some suppliers treat an amendment as a new booking and apply the rate current at the time the amendment is made to recalculate the entire booking amount (not just the days changed). If the rental period is increased, an additional deposit may be required. If the rental period is shortened which results in a reduction of the rental charges, the deposit amount will remain unchanged, and the difference between the original and revised deposit is forfeited (it cannot be used towards remaining rental charges). To request a change to a confirmed booking, please use the alterations request link on your confirmation. Any alterations are subject to availability and the approval of the supplier. In addition to the alteration policy of the supplier stated in their terms, the following charges will apply:
Car rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 25.00
To add or remove extras to/from a confirmed booking: 10.00
Motorhome rental alterations (all charges stated in local currency):
To change dates or times that result in a recalculation of rental rates, or to change vehicles or locations: 75.00
To add or remove extras to/from confirmed booking: 20.00
The alteration fee will not be charged if your alteration request is not possible.
Vehicle Capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
Pure Motorhomes Ireland Insurance
Insurance:
You are required to take a Compulsory Insurance with the operators of Pure Motorhomes Hire Ireland. In Ireland insurance is always issued to a person, not the vehicle so it is important that each driver on the agreement is covered. Drivers must be between 25 years and 71 years and hold a clean drivers licence for two years.
Additional Driver Insurance
Only one additional driver is permitted on the hire agreement. This also carries an insurance surcharge.
A - Irish and UK Licences
For Irish and UK licence holders the insurance cost is €23 per day.
B - C Insurance for Other Country Licences
Please note that potential hirers who do NOT possess an Irish or UK licence will be subject to an additional surcharge of 25% or 50% of the standard daily insurance rate - please see the list of countries below to identify.
When selecting your insurance policy please ensure that you have read and understood what insurance applies to you. This extra % will be calculated on your quote correctly if you select the correct Insurance policy.
A - Compulsory Insurance for Irish & UK drivers. Standard surcharge applies.
B - Compulsory Insurance for Other Country Licences. All drivers possessing a licence from one of the following countries will be subject to an additional premium increase of 25% of the Standard surcharge:

Transfers
We offer a free transfer from Dublin Airport to our depot. We do not provide transfers to train stations or to the City centre. We will however transfer clients to a nearby airport hotel if they plan to stay a night prior to renting with us. Dublin Airport depot Dublin Airport is a serviced non depot location.
